Remix: A brief history of Nintendo

Listen to this chill, nostalgia-filled tune

You can only hear the sound effects from Super Mario Bros. so many times over the years before they start to grate on your very soul. As such, this new Nintendo-themed remix by Reverse Enginears wasn’t winning me over with its introduction.

But then they had to go and sample one of my favorite videogame tracks (“Forest Interlude”) from my favorite game and game soundtrack of all time (Donkey Kong Country 2). Hmph. Actually, the end result is pretty easy on the ears. Interesting selection of titles, too. Give it a couple of minutes of your time, if you’d be so gracious.
