Rejoice, retail-lovers: THQ to publish Amnesia in boxes

Digital distribution is where it’s at when it comes to PC games these days *coughSTEAMcough*, but there definitely IS merit to having a few Digital Versatile Discs (or Compact Discs if you wanna go retro) in boxes.

THQ recognizes that, and clearly recognizes that Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a pretty damn scary (and thus great) horror game. Now they’re bringing the loving product of Frictional Games to the retail-loving masses.

Yes. I thought Amnesia was one of the most terrifying games in years, and so did a lot of other people, so I can really appreciate that more people can get a chance to experience it. Especially folks who think Dead Space and Resident Evil are real horror games.
