Red Goddess: Inner World Kickstarter hits funding goal

Second time’s the charm

Just a couple months ago, Yanim Studio launched a Kickstarter campaign for its pretty platformer Red Goddess, but it failed to meet its goal of $50,000 by about 20%. Earlier this month, the studio relaunched with updated assets, a subtitle, and a lower funding goal. Red Goddess: Inner World was seeking only $30,000 this time around. With 15 days to spare, it hit that goal yesterday and was successfully funded.

Red Goddess is slated to be an action-platformer with metroidvania elements, starring the titular goddess who has three forms, each with its own abilities. It also features a mechanic that allows her to enter others’ minds to explore what makes someone tick.

Red Goddess: Inner World has already made it through Steam’s Greenlight process. It is set to release on Linux, Mac, PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Wii U in 2015.
