Red Dead Redemption is out now on Xbox One, some DLC is free

It’s also $7.49 for Gold members

Red Dead Redemption is just one of those games that basically everyone has played. Whether it was years after its release on the cheap or at launch when it obtained near perfect reviews (as Rockstar often does), odds are you’ve experienced it. It brought a welcome wild west flavor into the open world genre, and provided a narrative that people actually cared about.

Now you can pick it up via backward compatibility on Xbox One — whether it’s through the Xbox.com price of $7.49, or by way of a boxed copy for under $10. Either way works, because Microsoft’s backward compatibility system is pretty dope. As a side note, you can also scoop up the multiplayer-centric Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack and the Legends and Killers Pack for free.
