Red Dead Redemption‘s single-player open world Western experience promises to be one of Rockstar’s biggest efforts yet. But it hasn’t forgotten about multiplayer modes, which found some popularity among Grand Theft Auto IV players. You wanna play cowboys with your buddies? Rockstar’s going to let you do it.

In this latest trailer, Rockstar gives some insight into what to expect, including a new way to start matches — a Mexican standoff. The last man standing gets the upper hand, able to run to the area’s best sniper location. Specific modes are detailed as well, including classic deathmatch (“Shootout”) and team deathmatch (“Gang Shootout”).

Rockstar also gets fancy with some other traditional multiplayer modes, giving them Western twists — “Hold Your Own,” “Gold Rush,” and “Grab Your Bag” all appear to be variations of the classic “capture the flag formula.” But instead of flags, there’s gold. Because people in the Wild West love gold.

Red Dead Redemption is out this May, so prepare your trigger fingers for those Mexican standoffs accordingly.
