Red Dead Redemption 2 teaser teases and not much else

Giddy up gaucho

Did you blink? The follow up to one of the best games of 2010, if not the decade, showed little beyond environments in its first trailer. Reminiscent of the first Grand Theft Auto V trailer which didn’t explicitly tell us much, this trailer is also surely full of hints and designed to stir up rumors and conversation.

I see canoes, trains, various animals, wagons, and what appears to the be the seven main characters seen in the promotional art work thus far. We still don’t know anything about those characters, the story, setting, online aspect or much of anything yet. We’ll have to wait for the next trailer. I think we’re going to look back on this day and think of how Nintendo stole the thunder.
