Red Bull LAN lets players mess with StarCraft II matches

Recommended Videos

The Red Bull LAN Seattle StarCraft II tournament is going to begin on August 30 and run until September 1 at PAX Prime, and holy cow do they have something genuinely hysterical up their sleeve. For the first time ever, the audience is going to be able to interact with the matches and mess up the players. They’re likening it to “suddenly dumping hundreds of soccer balls onto the field during a match” or “turning a football field from grass to jello.” Count me in!

The website currently allows you to vote on what viewer ability they will reveal next — the first is embedded above. If the other abilities are just as hilarious, I guarantee this will be an event you won’t want to miss. Eight pro players will be joining in, and I can only imagine they’re going in with a lighthearted approach. There will also be 2v2 matches with people from the audience. I cannot WAIT for this to start!

I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
