Realtime Worlds, the company behind the beloved Crackdown and the upcoming action-oriented MMO, APB, has named Gary Dale as its new CEO. His prior roles in the industry include both COO and executive VP of Take-Two Interactive, COO of Rockstar Games, European managing director of Capcom, and the list goes on.

The Company is on the verge of launching products that will change current conceptions of what MMO games are about,” says Dale. “I can’t imagine a more exciting opportunity than to join this talented and creative team as we prepare to deliver such ground-breaking and high quality online entertainment to gamers around the globe.”

After a statement like that, I sure hope we’ll get to see more of APB at this year’s E3. It’s been far too long since we have heard anything new on the game, and many of us are dying for additional details, however small they may be. Throw us a bone, RTW!
