ReadySet Heroes mixes hack-n-slash combat with online competition

Competitive Diablo

During Sony’s inaugural “State of Play” stream, a new title called ReadySet Heroes was announced. The title will be a mixture of the hack-n-slash genre with competitive multiplayer, pitting teams of players against each other in randomly generated dungeons. I suppose saying it’s Diablo PvP is correct since the main goal is to reach the end of the dungeon first.

In a nice move, offline play will be available in addition to online options. Four-player split-screen will ensure that even the most remote of us will get a chance to actually play this game to its fullest potential. The expected release date is the nebulous “later this year,” so we’ll just need to ba patient with the details.
