Razer’s Project Fiona set to be revealed January 10th

Turns out the Razer Blade isn’t the only thing set to be paraded around CES this winter, as Razer’s website pcgamingisnotdead.com features a brand new video titled “Project Fiona.” With Razer promising an all new form factor, I’m guessing they’re going for PC gaming on a netbook? Honestly, it seems a little like hokum to me. Even if it does indeed pull through as promised, I expect the price to be much more than your typical Joe can even dream of affording (as seems the case with most Razer products).

Set to be revealed on January 10th at CES 2012, Project Fiona is shown playing Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Firefall. There’s no actual footage of the rumored new form factor in the video, so it makes me wonder if Razer will truly be ready for a live demo of Fiona or if they’re simply trying to build suspense.

The video starts off by seemingly mocking Apple’s classic black-on-white scheme, transforming into Razer’s black on green with heavy metal music accompanied by the game footage I mentioned before. If this is just Razer taking another swing at the Razer Switchblade we saw at last year’s CES, I’ll be a little bit disappointed. However, all will be revealed next week at CES!
