Ranko Tsukigime?s Longest Day hits PS3 in Japanuary

Ring in the New Year with a new Grasshopper game

Grasshopper Manufacture’s next project is leaping to PlayStation 3 on January 16, 2014 in Japan. The fifth and final chapter of legendary Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo’s Short Peace anthology, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day follows an adolescent assassin on a fast-paced sidescrolling adventure.

In addition to Otomo, the title boasts a talented team of industry veterans including Suda 51 of No More Heroes fame, Silent Hill composer Akiya Yamaoka, Tokyo Jungle director Yohei Kataoka, and Fire Emblem: Awakening illustrator Yusuke Kozaki.

Namco Bandai is hosting a special event for the PS3 exclusive at Tokyo Game Show tomorrow. Perhaps we’ll have more to share regarding this alluring collaboration soon.
