Amazing news, everyone! Namco Bandai has announced plans to localize Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day for PlayStation 3 in the Americas, Europe, and Australasia this spring.

The side-scroller is the fifth and final installment in Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo’s anime anthology, the Short Peace project. It comes by way of Crispy’s, the studio behind Tokyo Jungle, and was written and directed by none other than Grasshopper Manufacture boss Goichi Suda.

The story follows a young assassin on the run from demons, which players must evade whilst traversing colorful obstacle courses in this fast-paced action platformer. I don’t know about you, but I am soooo ready to dig into this. I can’t wait.
