RAGE tool kit for user-created content available today

35+ GB download from Steam

Bethesda has announced that the RAGE tool kit will be available later today via Steam, allowing users to create their own content for the game. It is apparently the “same tools used to create RAGE and its DLC, The Scorchers.” It better be, considering it’s a hefty 35+ GB download. Holy crap! That takes some dedication to download, and likely even more dedication to use.

The guys who used these tools have you covered though, and have provided recommended reading material, which can be downloaded and read from the official blog. You can access the tools, once they launch later today, by heading to the “Tools” section of Steam. For the uninitiated, you head to your Library, click “All Games” at the top, then select “Tools.”

Well, consider me finally interested in RAGE.
