QuakeCon 2010 registration detailed

Recommended Videos

Headed out to QuakeCon this August? You’ll want to know about the “new and improved registration process.” The new process is entirely on-site, and is apparently designed to reduce the time attendees will have to wait in order to register their computers and what not they bring along for the frag-related activities that will ensue.

The event will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, with doors opening on August 13 at 9am and will remain open until Sunday, August 15 at noon… or until everyone drops dead from exhaustion. The event will be free, but you’ll have to pay for your own room. The Anatole has set up a custom room reservation page, which disappointing just looks like a regular old hotel registration page. We couldn’t get a picture of Strogg on there or something?

Bethesda is said to bringing playable versions of Brink, Fallout: New Vegas, and Hunted: The Demon Forge. We were told prior to E3 that id Software’s Rage would be playable for the first time as well, although this isn’t mentioned once in this most recent announcement.

Planning on attending? Let us know! Maybe we’ll show up, too.
