Put on your business suit and get ready to dance

“Respect to high school students are scattered in the squid. You can buy the juice in vending machines. You can rodeo a runaway triceratops. Gothloli his daughter, I will smooch ☆. Robots are better than the dancing robot. Instead of taxis can be a YUREI.”

You want whatever game that little blurb describes, don’t you? You don’t know why since it makes little to no sense (some of which we can blame on Google Translate), but you want it. You want it because you know, without me telling you, that it’s some freaky Japanese game that is stranger than strange, but looks awesome anyway. You’re right of course, this game is upcoming WiiWare title Tomenasanner, and on a scale of one to ten, it’s odd.

From what the internet has gleaned the game, which was originally for cell phones, is played with single button pushes and motions as you guide a “salaryman” through a variety of levels that range from office buildings to hell and offer a variety of challenges. The game is made by Konami and seems to feature actual motion capture for its breakdancing sequences, which, as far as I can tell, don’t actually have anything to do with the gameplay. Rhythm and timing do, however, so if we had to categorize this game I suppose it would have to be called a rhythm game. The game also features multiplayer and worldwide rankings, the latter of which won’t be very useful if it never leaves Japan after its “Summer 2009” release there (hint, hint).

You can check out the video below if you want to expereince dancing pandas and schoolgirls, but I’m going to go try and figure out how I can smooch Gothloli without her father finding out.
