Psycho Crusher is bringing the VG metal with a new album

Recommended Videos

We shared with you the joy of Chilean VG metal band Psycho Crusher earlier this year. Live videos are cool and all, but wouldn’t you enjoy some nice, clean recordings as well?

Band member Cristián “Kris” Escobar is working on his own to put together an album entitled Level 1. So far, it consists of new single-song arrangements, although the “Arcade Classics” medley from the live show makes a return. Four tracks are currently available on his Bandcamp page, with additional tracks’ appearing on a somewhat weekly basis. He’s also posting music videos to accompany each song release, the latest of which is “My Loved Ones Are Gone based on “Wondering About My Loved Ones” from Wolfenstein 3D.

This is some amazing stuff, and I hope Kris manages to reassemble the full band for live performances of the completed album. You ought to hit up his Bandcamp and give him your support. In the meantime, check out the rest of his videos after the jump.

Level 1 [Bandcamp]

Robotnik Is No More” (Sonic the Hedgehog – Staff Roll)

A Wanderer on the Way” (Shadow of the Colossus – “The Opened Way”)

Arcade Classics” (Arcade games from 1972 to 1983)
