There’s a new version of the official PS3 Bluetooth headset coming our way. It replaces the original official set, which was released in 2008. It offers a dual-microphone design, automatic pairing via USB cable with the PS3, in-game headset status indicator, a mic mute button, and a charging cradle that doubles as a desktop mic. One of the bigger draws is that it offers a HQ High Quality mode that brings better sound to your gaming.
What’s new is that the set is 30% smaller, making it look even more sleek. You can see its slim profile in our gallery below. Sony says it also has noise filtering that works with both gaming and phone use. And if you want to continue using the set after gaming, the battery supports six hours of talk time.
