The PlayStation Network becomes the Sony Entertainment Network this week, and we’ve finally discovered the real reason for the name change — an excuse to put out new firmware! That’s right folks, we’re now up to firmware update v4.10 and it will include the following great new features:

  • Minor Changes.
  • Web browser slightly less shit.
  • Set the time more accurately via the Internet when turning the PS3 on.

Woah, slow down there, Sony! Changes? As in, more than one change? For FREE!? You really are spoiling us with all this extra PS3 DLC. I cannot think of a company more generous than you.

I’m beginning to think we should set up a PayPal fundraiser or something, just to donate some extra money to Sony. It seems almost like robbery that we’re getting so much firmware, so regularly, and aren’t paying a single thin dime towards it. Let’s club together and show our gratitude!
