Acquire has busted out a new trailer for its ink-filled platformer Sumioni to accompany the other announcement made regarding the game’s (now official) February 9 release date in Japan. The latest trailer has, like, ink going all over the place and shows how players can utilise the PS Vita’s touch controls to create platforms to jump on or even call upon allies to help kick some ass.
You know, most of us are bound to think of Okami when we watch this trailer, and that’s not a bad thing. I mean, I haven’t really seen anyone call out “Okami clone!” just yet, but it’s going to happen. If anything, we need more games in this style so any Okami die-hard out there should, if anything, welcome games like Sumioni.
