PS Vita’s launch apps detailed, final box shown

Above you’ll see Europe’s final box art for the PlayStation Vita. Nice, isn’t it? Of course, if you’re like me you’ll be clawing into that box within seconds, and will probably never look at it again, so enjoy it now while you have nothing better to do. 

The list of launch apps for the Vita has also been shared by Sony. There’s 10 in all:

• PlayStation Store
• Group Messaging
• Photos
• Near
• Trophies
• Music
• Friends
• Internet Browser

We touched on the functionality of some of these apps in our TGS coverage of the Vita. This portable will be able to do a lot right out of the box, wouldn’t you say? Add this to the PSP and PS1 games, launch titles, and the obligatory setting of corgi pictures as backgrounds and Vita launch week will be quite busy.
