Remote Play is going to be a huge part of the PlayStation 4, seemingly in a bid to go toe-to-toe with Nintendo’s Wii U. According to Gaikai founder Dave Perry, the PlayStation Vita will use Remote Play to become “the ultimate companion device” to the PS4.

PS4 is going to be a “game server,” with Vita as “the client.” Recently announced title KNACK has already been confirmed for remote play. Transmission time has been reduced, making Remote Play more responsive.

Well … looks like Sony really is serious about making the Vita do something!
