Our absolutely massive review of Prototype featured the views of three of our editors, and came with a bonus music video. The end result? A respectable score of 7.5 out of 10. That means that we feel it’s a solid game. And it is. It was solid enough for the original asking price of $59.99, and so it’s definitely worth the limited-time price of $40.
The good folks at Steam have dropped the price of Activision’s latest action game by 20 percent, letting you nab it for $40. This price is good through August 13th, or about a week. Not bad for such a new game. I guess that this is one of the better parts of being a PC gamer — you get things for cheaper and see more sales. I think it’ll be awhile before we see price drops on the console version.
