Proteus coming to PS3/Vita, will be cross buy

Sounds like a pro to us

Procedurally generated exploration game Proteus is coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita, according to the PlayStation Blog. The indie title is coming with the help of Curve Studios, the team recently responsible for bringing Mike Bithell’s Thomas Was Alone to the consoles. Curve is also the studio helping bring Jasper Byrne’s Lone Survivor to PS3 and Vita.

“Here at Curve we’ve been working with Ed [Proteus designer Ed Key] to make the PS Vita and PS3 versions even better than the original, and over the next few months we’re going to have more information on how we’re using the power of PS3 and PS Vita to bring the absolute best Proteus experience to you guys.”

Sounds good to me. Despite Patrick’s glowing review, I haven’t yet made time for Proteus. The Vita seems as good a point of entry as any. Proteus will take advantage of Cross Buy, meaning you get the Vita and PS3 versions for the same price. Are you down to explore its pensive, musical soundscape?
