CGI Mario G?tze is freaking me out
I’ll be honest, I haven’t played a Pro Evolution Soccer game since the PlayStation 2 days but after the series lagged behind EA’s FIFA juggernaut for the last few years, I’m keen to try the series again on a current-gen platform. PES 2015 will be coming out in November this year on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
The ‘pitch is ours’ is Konami’s slogan and in this year’s installment, there’s a promise of much quicker reaction times, which always used to be a big problem with older PES games. There’s also going to be a bigger focus on players’ behaviors, so expect them to respond more accurately to getting booked or Luis Suarez biting them (I’m gonna run that reference into the ground, folks).
It’s good to see that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 at least looks like it’s getting to be on par with FIFA, visually speaking. I suppose picking between them is always going to be how they play, whether you prefer Pro Evo‘s slightly slower, more tactical game or FIFA‘s shiny, bells-and-whistles approach. I’ll find out later this year, I suppose.
