Pre-ordering Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 nets you the previous game

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

Just recently Sony announced the PS4 edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider, which will launch on October 11, nearly one year after it hit the Xbox One. Not only is it a GOTY package of sorts, but it’ll also sport a special VR mission in Croft manor.

But it also comes with another bonus. If you pre-order Rise on the PSN, you’ll net its predecessor, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Point blank if you don’t want all the physical stuff in the above release, it’s not a terrible idea to go with this, since Definitive usually runs $20 physically and $30 digitally.

Sony is devious this generation! In some room somewhere they probably stated “how can we top this timed exclusive release from Microsoft? I know, we’ll celebrate the ’20th anniversary of Tomb Raider‘, something we never would have done otherwise!”
