If you’re going to buy NBA 2K11, you might as well get some Xbox 360 Avatar and PlayStation Home crap while you’re at it, right? 2K has announced that it’s partnered with GameStop to offer pre-order customers some digital goodies for their virtual personas.
Xbox 360 pre-orders will receiver a code to download the official red Chicago Bulls road jersey for their Avatars. PlayStation 3 folks will get the white Chicago Bulls home jersey. Note the number on the jersey; it’s a 23 — yes, these are the jerseys of NBA 2K11 cover athlete, Michael Jordan. You know, the guy who sticks out his tongue a lot. (No, I didn’t know this until everyone screamed at me about it when I last wrote about NBA 2K11. Yes, this is why I hired Samit Sarkar as our sports guy.)
NBA 2K11 is out on October 5. It’s about basketball or something.
