Pre-E3 09: Koei’s lineup: Dynasty Warriors … Troy?

Recommended Videos

Where there is Koei, there is Sterling, and I shall indeed be there when Koei announces Warriors: Legends of Troy. There is no gameplay synopsis, but judging by the title, could Omega Force be taking the Dynasty Warriors hack n’ slash formula and taking it to the famous battle of Troy? If so, I will be all up in that sh*t, fool. Dat be mah jam.

Koei will also be showing off Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll, its PS3-exclusive RPG that promises a more mature and dark experience than your average emo-flavored Japanese roleplayer. In addition to that, the Pokémon-style Monster Racers for DS will be shown, along with Warriors Orochi 2 for the PSP.

I’ve been waiting for the Warriors series of games to leave Asia alone for a while, so if Legends of Troy is what I think it is, it shall be exciting times ahead. Well, for me anyway. Screw the rest of you, quite frankly.
