Futurlab has announced a new crossover endeavor for the instant classic PowerWash Simulator. This time, you’ll be tasked with cleaning the grime off of the ‘80s hit movie Back to the Future.

After finally clawing its way out of the muck of Early Access in 2022, PowerWash Simulator has crossed over with a number of properties. This includes games like Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII remake and, most recently, Spongebob Squarepants. There’s even a Warhammer 40K crossover lined up.

Released in 1985, Back to the Future is one of the most recognizable ‘80s movies. It involves teenager Marty McFly being stranded in the distant past year of 1955. If you want to see anyone over 30 fall to pieces, just remind them that if Back to the Future was made today, Marty would travel back to 1993. Hold on, I… I need to sit down for a second.

The Back to the Future DLC will include “Doc Brown’s van, the Time Machine, Hill Valley Clocktower, the Holomax Theatre, and Doc’s Time Train. Plus, there are ten new achievements to collect in-game.” Damn, I was kind of hoping to hose off a J.C. Penney sign.

In any case, the Back to the Future DLC will arrive for PowerWash Simulator sometime in 2023. The bad news is that it will cost money. Specifically, you’ll need $7.99 USD for the privilege of cleaning off the DeLorean. That’s not something I expected to be writing today.
