Populous and Red Alert 3 join Humble Origin Bundle

$8 million in sales and counting

The Humble Origin Bundle is a curious thing. On the one hand, it’s Electronic Arts, a company that’s easy to dislike these days, and in the case of some — but not all! — of the featured games, there’s the dreaded Origin requirement. On the other, proceeds are going to charities like the Human Rights Campaign and the American Red Cross. Hmm.

There’s no real arguing with the sheer savings to be had, either. Two new games, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising and the classic Populous have been added to the roster as pay-more-than-the-average bonus titles. Enough people have scraped by that said average is under five bucks. That’s $5 for ten games, including Dead Space 3, Battlefield 3, and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Boxyeah, I’m going to cave.
