Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 delayed until early 2024

Just a little longer

The release of the third installment in the indie action-adventure horror title Poppy Playtime is now set for 2024. Originally scheduled for this month, developer Mob Entertainment took to Twitter to announce the delay. According to the developers, Chapter 3 simply isn’t ready yet and needs a few extra weeks to reach the quality they are striving for.

No one likes delays, especially when you’re this close to the scheduled release date. However, a brief delay of weeks is certainly understandable, especially if the game just isn’t ready yet! Besides, for a single-player experience-focused journey like Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, it’s very important for it to be at the quality you are looking for right out of the gate.

To help tide us over until the new year, Mob Entertainment also dropped the first gameplay trailer for Chapter 3, titled Deep Sleep. It looks like the biggest and most intense version of Poppy Playtime yet, so I’m here for it when it’s ready.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 will release in early 2024 on PC and mobile devices.
