With this week’s PlayStation Network additions moved up to today, Polar Panic is making it to PlayStation 3 prior to Xbox 360. A whole month later, and I still think the game sounds like it went through a time portal in 1985 only to resurface in December of this year.

There’s been an unsurprising lack of buzz surrounding the game, which is too bad; Polar Panic looks rather good. As a polar bear, you push ice chunks around a grid while trying to vanquish foes and save your species.

Not the greatest premise ever, but it’s presented in a hectic, arcade-y style that looks pretty appealing. It’s priced at a reasonable $9.99/800 Microsoft Points. 0 Day Attack on Earth and the debut Trials HD DLC are also hitting XBLA this Wednesday, in case you forgot.

Are any of these things of interest to you?
