Much like Finland is very proud of Angry Birds, Poland (home of developer CD Projekt Red) is proud of The Witcher.

So much so, in fact, that Damien Monnier, lead designer of the upcoming Gwent game, has reported that there is going to be an official Witcher stamp at some point in the near future. Monnier reminded a fan on Twitter that Geralt and his adventures exist outside of the confines of video games, as they’re from the mind of Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, but this particular stamp is in commemoration of Geralt’s gaming appearance.

It’s a big accomplishment for an indie studio, and now all eyes are on Cyberpunk 2077. My guess? They’re going to take their time to make sure the monumental expectations are kept in check.
