Gotta smack ’em all
Nintendo announced on Twitter that the cutesy but chaotic Pokken Tournament DX will see a demo on Nintendo Switch, one that will be with us as soon as today!
The demo will be live on the Nintendo eShop at 9pm PT/12am ET in America, whilst Europe will see the demo a little later this week. There appears to be little info on what the demo will contain, but given recent fighting games I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just multiplayer matches with a limited roster. Unless they’re feeling particularly generous.
This release takes me back to the day I won an impromptu Pokken Tournament on release week. A battle won by the delicate Gardevoir and dedicated to the good people of the Destructoid community. Good times.
Pokken Tournament DX releases on Nintendo Switch worldwide September 22.
