Nintendo didn’t give us an in-depth look at Pokemon Sword and Shield during today’s Direct, but we did learn a few new details. The second gym leader of the Gala region, Nessa, will be a water type master that has a design seemingly inspired by Sun and Moon.

As well as short in-game footage, we learned that the Pokeball Plus accessory will have some use beyond Let’s Go and Go. While you won’t be able to use it as a controller, you can transfer your critters to it and take them with you on the go. This is likely an extension of the pedometer features that have been in past Pokemon entries.
