Pokemon Quest comes to iOS and Android next week

The cubes are all right

An evening of puttering around in Pokemon Quest on Nintendo Switch was plenty for me. I was curious enough to download the tap-centric free-to-play game at launch, but I also knew to keep a healthy distance. Stick around too long and you’ll find yourself caught up in a near-never-ending grind.

If this sort of low-stress time-waster seems like a better fit for your phone, you’ll soon have that option. Pokemon Quest is coming to iOS and Android next Thursday, June 28.

Like I said, I’ve had my fill with the Switch version, but I can picture myself sneaking in an expedition or two while waiting in line at the grocery store. Mobile seems more conducive to the timer-centric design.
