Like anyone had any doubt — Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages will be localized, and will air on Cartoon Network at some point this year. The announcement comes by way of an English trailer for the film, which you can watch above.
It will feature a desert city, the really cute (but maybe sort of evil) Hoopa, and a metric shit-ton of legendary Pokémon. I’m not ashamed to admit that I still like watching these with my wife.
The movie will host a special event in Japan when it’s out this summer in theaters — if you take your pre-booked ticket to select stores (Pokemon Center, Toys”R”Us, and 7-11), you can net level 100 legendary Pokémon.
