It may feel like the crazed end-of-times excitement over Pokémon Go is dying down, but the game is still absurdly popular, and with each new development, I can see it getting a boost. Today during Apple’s iPhone 7 event, Niantic announced Apple Watch support for the critter-catching game.

I haven’t touched Go in weeks, but this functionality would make me want to play again. I don’t have an Apple Watch, though, so I guess I’ll continue waiting for trading and the Gen 2 Pokémon.
