Pokemon Go bans are going out in full force, here’s what the email looks like

Niantic is still really pissed that everyone is using third-party apps, and in addition to blowing a ton of them up, it has also been sending out mass ban emails, so check your inboxes if you’re one of those impacted. The email essentially notes that your account has been immediately terminated, and there’s an appeals form listed if you think it was a false positive. It’s a zero-tolerance policy.

It’s been tough playing Go these past few weeks due to the ill-will that Niantic has garnered from just about everything it’s done — from a lack of communication (unless it’s negative) to the removal of tracking apps (which I never used, but some people I played with refuse to game without). I generally don’t like playing by myself, so I’m kind of stuck in a mid-level 20s rut.

In other writer-meta news, the Alola form of Meowth is pretty much my new go-to image, because he’s the Pokemon equivalent of “deal with it.”
