The “best of” PlayStation, apparently

Recommended Videos

The PlayStation community was given the opportunity to vote on its favorite games of 2012 across various categories, with the promise that winners would eventually be put on sale. As of this week, that time has come. The new pricing is good through Monday, March 4:

  • Best PSN Exclusive Game: Journey ($10.49; $7.34 for PS Plus)
  • Best PSN Game: The Walking Dead – Season Pass ($13.99; $9.79 for PS Plus)
  • Best Indie Game: Journey ($10.49; $7.34 for PS Plus)
  • Best PS3 Full Game: Assassin’s Creed III ($49.99; $34.99 for PS Plus)
  • Best PS Vita Game: Gravity Rush ($24.99; Free for PS Plus)
  • Best PSP Game: Unchained Blades ($20.99; $14.69 for PS Plus)
  • Best PlayStation Classic: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ($7.49; $5.99 for PS Plus)
  • Best mini Game: Velocity ($3.49; $2.44 for PS Plus)
  • Best PlayStation Move Enabled Game: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier ($23.99; $21.59 for PS Plus)
  • Best Competitive Multiplayer Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ($10.49; $7.34 for PS Plus)

Look, I love Journey too, but couldn’t we have avoided giving it two awards if only to let something else get the discount instead?
