PlayStation All-Stars Island wants you to drink Coke Zero

I can’t look at PlayStation All-Stars Island without laughing. While some might be put off by the blatant advertising tie-in with Coca-Cola Zero for this free iOS and Android game — that plane is beyond ridiculous, I’ll admit — it’s just too damn silly for me to keep a straight face.

The game itself is a few separate mini-games, each representing an established PlayStation property. I hope you aren’t utterly tired of endless runners, because that’s what you’re getting — only now there are the familiar faces of Nathan Drake, Sackboy, Cole MacGrath, and Kat.

I’ve sat in enough advertising classes to know that someone is genuinely patting themselves on the back for coming up with this advergame. Such a strange world we live in.
