PlayStation 4 price increased in Canada

Along with the camera and controller too

Sony has confirmed to the Toronto Sun that the prices of the PlayStation 4 will be going up effective March 15. The consoles were $399.99, but will be $449.99 going forward. The camera and Dual Shock 4 controller will also see a price hike, from $59.99 to $64.99.

The reason? Sony stated that it’s “to respond to changes in the market environment.” The PlayStation 4 has been hard to find across Canada, and this really doesn’t help matters at all. These price hikes also follow the increase of prices for PS4 and Xbox One games back in January, from $59.99 to $64.99.
