Playing the Nioh demo will net you free DLC for the full game

Out today, shuts down entirely on May 5

Nioh, Team Ninja’s latest action romp that actually doesn’t look half bad, is getting a demo today. Not just any demo either — as this one will only be available for a limited time.

Yep, you have from today until May 5 to grab it, and then it’ll be gone. The demo allows the use of the spear, axe, and katana weapon types. After completing it, players will net the “Mark of the Conqueror DLC,” which will contain “exclusive in-game content” when it actually launches.

My guess is some lame weapon skin add-on or something that you’ll outlevel in an hour but who knows?! At this point you really have nothing to lose, outside of potentially wasting your time given Team Ninja’s inconsistent recent track record.
