Play Wii Sports Club for free this weekend

You know, if you want

As announced last week, Nintendo is giving Wii U owners the opportunity to play Wii Sports Club for free today through Sunday, March 23 at 11:59 PM Pacific. There are three games available currently — Tennis, Bowling, and Golf — and the latter just got a new nine-hole Resort Course.

Outside of promotions like this, these sports are $9.99 each to own, or $1.99 to rent all of them for 24 hours on the Wii U eShop. Nintendo is offering this particular free weekend in the United Kingdom as well, by the way. Too bad Baseball and Boxing aren’t out yet!

Now all I need is to hire a bunch of actors to portray my family. I like the look of those old folks.
