Play Planetary Annihilation alone in new Galactic War mode

Seems like a good time to get in on the action

This week, Uber Entertainment added single-player to its in-development real-time strategy game Planetary Annihilation, which was Kickstarted in 2012 and has been doing its thing as an early-access release for a while now. Good feature to have, if you ask me!

The new mode, Galactic War, starts you off with a scaled-back tech tree which you’ll be able to expand as you make progress across the galaxy, fighting against AI commanders in procedurally generated systems. There’s some customization in that you can dictate the mode’s intensity and scale — by doing so, you will encounter varying tech trees and challenges.

Uber has referred to this version of Galactic War as  “just the first iteration,” writing that it’ll support the mode “much like we support our core game with updates.” In light of the update, Planetary Annihilation is marked down to $29.99 for a weekend sale. Keep in mind that’s 40 percent off.
