Please tell me you all remember our special Gears of War 2-themed Friday Night Fights contest that we held back in March of this year. Just in case you don’t, and to make the header image seem more sensible, here’s a link to that specific post.
My trusty Destructoid community helpers and I learned quite a bit about running contests over Xbox LIVE during the last event, so you had better believe this one we’ll be even smoother, and equally awesome. Join us from 9:00 to 12:00 EDT this Friday night by sending a friend request/message to one of the following Gamertags:

- P0WER GL0VE (note: those are zeros!)
- BLOORATARD
Up for grabs are six COG tags, one Gears trucker hat, two “Snowblind” map pack keys, and codes for one gold lancer, and one gold hammerburst. We’ll have a couple of Gears 2 rooms going simultaneously, and to win some swag, you do NOT have to beat us at the game. Instead, we’ll be doing trivia questions for the in-game codes, and will be randomly drawing names from the people who show up for the tangible items.
I hope to see more Dtoiders show up this time, and please remember, this is not a tournament, so don’t challenge us to a match against your clan again. Also, if you are reading this post after Friday, June 26, the prizes have been awarded already; please don’t ask us about this weeks after the fact like last time. Thanks!
