The Expendables is a ridiculous concept, the Hollywood action film equivalent of Super Smash Bros., starring (take a deep breath now): Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Lie, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and more.
So basically, it’s like your greatest 80s action movie wet dream brought to the silver screen. What more could you want? An 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System-style game based on it, of course!
You’ll have to go through Facebook, and obnoxiously “Like” the official The Expendables account to play it. But it may very well be worth it, with a Contra-esque side-scroller that lets you control one of three characters (8-bit Jason Statham with a machete!), and even has its own bonus levels and chance to win The Expendables swag if you’re a top scoring player.
