Check out this real-life Zombie Defense Plant that PopCap sent me.
My home is relatively free of zombies, so I didn’t have much of a sense of urgency when feeding and watering the thing. I planted the seed, watered it and left. I went out of town and came back to find that my little peashooter had grown to well over a foot tall. Today it stands (well, kind of) at a whopping 21 inches tall. At the base of the plant a little growth popped out of the dirt, and it reads “zombies,” as shown above. It currently stands in my office at the ready, fully loaded and waiting for the next wave. Watch out, cone heads.
They also sent along more seeds for my front yard (see gallery below). The package for the zombie-zapping peashooter says that it requires 100 energy points. It’s a good thing that they also included a package of energy-boosting sunflower seeds. I think I’ve got enough to hold them off for awhile now. Thanks, PopCap.
Update: Our Miami office received one, too! Check the gallery for pics (ours is the one pushing roids).
