Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is out in February

Pre-orders come with a Mass Effect mech

The eternal plants versus zombies conflict returns on February 23, 2016 — that’s when Garden Warfare 2 is hitting PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Thinking back on how many hours I poured into the first game, my fate is sealed. It was a enough of a twist on the genre to really sink its hooks in, and I suspect it’ll be the same story with the sequel.

Pre-orders include a couple of bonuses: “immediate access” to the Grass Effect Z7-Mech, which has a working Zomni-tool blade and the biotic power to “pull” enemies closer, as well as 14 emoji-esque masks for character customization. The Citron emoji is cute, I’ll grant them that.
