Pixeljam launches Potatoman Seeks the Troof, new bundles

It’s time to get potatosophical

In addition to its work on Glorkbot’s Mini Adventure and other projects in the pipeline, Pixeljam Games has been busy with Potatoman Seeks the Troof, a difficult, minimalistic platformer that’s described as being “potatosophical.” Sounds about right! The new game is available now as a standalone for $3, in a trilogy bundle for $5, and in Pixejam’s Octology for $10.

There’s a site dedicated to these bundles that lays it all out. I couldn’t finish Potatoman, which is indeed not an easy game, but I’ll have to go back and give it another shot. I need to know “the troof,” as it were. There’s also something oddly charming about the protagonist.

If you’re down with the studio’s music, The Octology seems especially worth it. In total, this comes with downloadable versions of Potatoman, Planeteri (ambient album with an interactive visualizer), the Bitku beta (pixel art app), Snowball (rad pinball game), Dino Run SE, Marathon of Doom (a Dino Run challenge), Pixeljams Vol. 1, and the Potatoman Soundtrack. Lastly, the Holiday Bonus bundle has all of this, Dino Run Text Adventure, and the Beelzebuds alpha for $15.
