Pick up a 2DS now through May 17 for just $99

I don’t care if it’s ‘for kids,’ I still kind of want one

Looking for a reason to pull the trigger on a 2DS but can’t bring yourself to because of the price? Nintendo has tweeted a special deal via Target just for you. Starting right now through May 17, pick up the curiously-shaped handheld for only $99, $29 off its regular price.

I’ve still got my regular 3DS and 3DS XL, and I’m still salivating over this deal because, despite its lack of 3D and tendency to look like a super thin slice of cake, it’s still pretty cool-looking and I dig it.

Not sure I wanna drop a hundo on yet another DS, but this one’s so cute, it’s a great opportunity to nab one for a friend or family member. Or a kid who’s been particularly good. You could just say it’s for a kid who’s been good and buy it for yourself, too. Or don’t. Just buy it for yourself. No shame.
